Perfect in ‘76 detailed the pursuit of that memorable season and included interviews from players along with exclusive practice footage and photos. The film, Perfect in ‘76, was narrated by John Mellencamp.

A behind-the-scenes documentary look into two major college basketball programs as they prepared for the NCAA Tournament. Competing in the ACC, coach Mike Brey and Notre Dame's Fighting Irish rose to become a Top Ten force to be reckoned with. University of Maryland, under coach Mark Turgeon, made the most of the Terrapins first year in the Big Ten. We took a front-row seat at the final month of conference play and saw what it takes - from the classroom to the locker room - to make it to the NCAA Tournament.

Against the Tide

On November 15th, 2013, Showtime aired the Ross Greenburg Productions documentary “Against The Tide”, about how Paul “Bear” Bryant changed the culture of college football in the state of Alabama.

To kickoff the 1970 college football season, Paul “Bear” Bryant, legendary head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide for a quarter of a century, scheduled a home game against the integrated University of Southern California Trojans. The all white Crimson Tide was no match for the faster, stronger Trojans.

The Bear was able to change the culture of a southern state through a long process and a single football game. Governor George Wallaceʼs declaration, “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever!” was shut down on the University of Alabama football field forever.

EPIX Presents: Road to the NHL Outdoor Classics

Road to the NHL Outdoor Classics took us deep inside four elite teams; the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings in the January 1 Centennial Classic in Toronto and the Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues in the Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic January 2 in St. Louis. From firehouse visits and Christmas decorating in Chicago to road trip meals in Minnesota, fans again got a great look inside the ups and downs of life in the NHL.

Ross Greenburg Productions has created a documentary that tells the life story of Dwight Howard, one of the premiere basketball stars in todayʼs game, starting with his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia up until his current signing with the Houston Rockets. The documentary will include his controversial exits from Orlando and Los Angeles, as we uncover the real Dwight Howard.

Forgotten Four: The Integration of Pro Football

In 1947, Jackie Robinson became the first African American to play Major League Baseball.

One year earlier, in 1946, Kenny Washington, Woody Strode, Marion Motley, and Bill Willis were all integrated into the National Football League and the All America Football Conference.

Ross Greenburg Productions produced Forgotten Four, a feature length documentary which airs in September of 2014 as a commemoration to their accomplishments as the first African American pro football players. Washington and Strode both played for the Los Angeles Rams and Paul Brown engineered Motley and Willis into his system on the Cleveland Browns. This film will tell the story that should have been told long ago.

David Ortiz: In the Moment

An original documentary profiling Boston Red Sox superstar David Ortiz inside Fenway Park and beyond. Known to fans as “Big Papi”, the 3-time World Series Champion became a key figure in bringing hope to his adopted city, during both the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombing and an emotional run at the 2013 title.

As the Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals prepared for the Winter Classic, our cameras and microphones captured the essence of each team’s journey on and off of the ice during the grueling regular season. The series culminated with the outdoor spectacle on New Year’s Day in the nation’s capital.

NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other

Executive Producer - Oversaw the production of “NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other”. This is a reality series that will air on NBCSN and CBC during the 2014 season. The show will follow NHL stars through the stadium games and the Sochi Olympics for seven shows from January 22nd through March 12th, 2014.

1962 U.S. Open: Jack's First Major

On June 17th at 2:00pm Eastern and 11:00am Pacific NBC Sports will air "1962 U.S. Open: Jack's First Major." This will be a Ross Greenburg Production.

This one hour documentary which will air two hours before final round play of the US Open at Olympic Country Club on NBC, takes a look back at Jack Nicklaus’ first major win.

He accomplished it in Arnold Palmer’s backyard of Oakmont Country Club outside of Pittsburgh. And he beat Arnold Palmer at the zenith of his celebrity in a dramatic 18 hole playoff. It is the 50th anniversary of this historic Nicklaus victory.

1999 U.S. Open: One Moment In Time

In 1999, Payne Stewart, one of the most exciting golfers of the time, won his second U.S Open and third major championship. The tournament was held at the Pinehurst Resort, where Stewart beat Phil Mickelson by a mere stroke.

Sadly, Stewart was not able to defend his title come the next year because of a fatal incident aboard a chartered Learjet 35. After an oxygen malfunction, the plane flew unmanned for hours until eventually beginning its descent. The plane crashed in an open field located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Ross Greenburg Productions has produced a documentary that celebrates Payne Stewartʼs accomplishments as a professional golfer and serves as a commemoration to a life cut short.

Jack Nicklaus Vignettes for the USGA Museum

As part of a large display commemorating Jack Nicklausʼ golfing career, Ross Greenburg along with the USGA have created video vignettes that will be exhibited at the USGA museum in New Jersey.

Jack Nicklaus: The Making of a Champion

The documentary chronicles the life, career and legacy of Nicklaus, winner of a record 18 professional major championships, including four U.S. Opens, tied for the most all-time. His eight USGA championships include two U.S. Amateurs and two U.S. Senior Opens. The film explores the completeness of Nicklaus’ storied career, emphasizing the values he formed growing up in Columbus, Ohio, and continues to embody.

Cold War on Ice

On January 2, 2012 the NBC Sports Network began with its first original production. Ross Greenburg Productions produced "Cold War on Ice," a look back at the 1972 Summit Series between the Canadian National Hockey team, made up of NHL All-Stars and the Soviet Union Hockey Team. What began as a friendly series soon was transformed into a eight game war on the ice.

Still Standing: The Early Campbell Story

Earl Campbell burst out of Tyler, Texas to become a Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Texas, and a Hall of Fame running back for the Houston Oilers of the National Football League.

He was one of most elusive and powerful tailbacks in football history. After his playing days, he has endured various injuries which eventually put him in a wheelchair, but in the fall of 2011 Earl fought back yet again.

After two knee replacement surgeries Earl is determined to walk again. This documentary will follow Earl's remarkable comeback, while looking back ate his remarkable football career. This film will air in the fall of 2012.

NHL 36

A series of 6 shows in 2012 on the NBC Sports Network featuring NHL stars like Patrick Kane, Patrice Bergeron, Nick Lidstrom, Mike Richards and others. This thirty minute reality series looks at 36 hours in the life of an NHL player, as viewers go behind the scenes and are treated to life in the NHL.

War By The Shore

The 29th Ryder Cup Matches were held on The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

The United States team won the competition by 141/2 to 131/2 points, winning back the Cup when Germany’s Bernhard Langer missed a six foot putt on the 18th hole of the final match, a putt that, if made, would have retained the Ryder Cup for Europe.

These Ryder Cup Matches became known as the "War on the Shore". This documentary will look at one of the most compelling Ryder Cup competitions in history.

Passion for the Game: Zurich Golf Ambassadors

In a partnership with Zurich Insurance and Golf Magazine, Ross Greenburg Productions produced three short Internet features on Billy Horschel, Justin Rose, and Lexi Thompson, three of the best professional golfers currently on tour. Each feature provides an in depth look into their lives; how their love for the game of golf was initially sparked, and the long arduous journeys they have endured to reach the pinnacles of their careers.
